Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply to booking and playing Arrow Tag with us.
Last updated: pending legal review
DRAFT — review with a lawyer before launch. This is draft copy, provided so the site is complete and the URL resolves; the wording below has not been reviewed or approved by a lawyer and must be checked before launch.
These Terms & Conditions govern bookings made with Archery Attack Pty Ltd and participation in our Arrow Tag (combat archery) sessions at our arena. Please read them carefully. By making a booking you accept these terms for yourself and on behalf of every member of your group, and you confirm you are authorised to do so. This is draft wording, not legal advice.
Bookings and payment
A booking is held as a temporary reservation while you complete payment and becomes confirmed once we have received the required deposit or full payment and issued you a booking reference.
Prices, inclusions, minimum and maximum group sizes and session lengths are shown at the time of booking and may change before you book. The amount payable for your booking is the amount shown at checkout.
Online card payments are processed by Stripe. By paying online you also agree to Stripe's terms. If payment is not completed, your reserved time may be released and made available to others.
Deposits, cancellations, reschedules and refunds
The deposit, cancellation, reschedule and refund terms that apply to your booking are shown at checkout and on your booking confirmation, and those specific terms prevail.
As a general guide, you can usually reschedule if you give us enough notice, subject to availability; deposits and payments may be non-refundable within a defined window before your session. We will tell you the applicable notice period and any fees before you book.
Nothing in these terms limits any right to a refund or remedy you have that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Waivers, minors and participant safety
Every participant must complete a waiver before playing. For any participant under 18, a parent or guardian must provide consent and complete the waiver on their behalf.
All participants must follow the safety briefing, the rules of play and the reasonable directions of our hosts at all times, and must wear the protective equipment provided.
For everyone's safety, we may refuse or stop participation by anyone who is unsafe, behaves dangerously or disruptively, appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or does not follow instructions — and no refund is payable in those circumstances.
Conduct, equipment and damage
Our equipment and venue must be used only as directed and for their intended purpose. You are responsible for your group using them with reasonable care.
You may be liable for the cost of repair or replacement where equipment or property is damaged or lost due to deliberate, reckless or negligent conduct by your group.
Assumption of risk and liability
Arrow Tag is an active, physical activity that involves running, dynamic movement and being struck by foam-tipped arrows, and carries inherent risks of injury. You acknowledge and accept those risks and take part voluntarily.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss, damage or injury arising from your participation, except to the extent caused by our negligence or breach. Our liability is otherwise limited as set out in these terms and in the waiver.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Where permitted, our liability for breach of a non-excludable guarantee is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of resupply.
Photography and media
We may take photos or video during sessions for our records and promotion. Let your host know before your session if you or a member of your group do not wish to be included, and we will accommodate reasonable requests.
Independent operators in other cities
Archery Attack operates the indoor arena in Reservoir, Melbourne. Where we list or refer you to operators in other cities (for example Adelaide, Brisbane, Newcastle or Toowoomba), those operators are independent businesses. They are not owned by or affiliated with Archery Attack, and any booking, quote or contract you make with them is solely between you and that operator.
Changes, governing law and contact
We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force when you make your booking applies to that booking. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
If you have any questions about these terms, contact us using the details on our contact page.
