Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before you book your battle.

What is Archery Attack?
Archery Attack is Arrow Tag — a hybrid of paintball, archery and dodgeball played with real bows and 100% foam-tipped arrows. Two teams battle it out to tag opponents and knock out targets. It's fast, tactical and ridiculously fun.
Where can we play?
We're based at our indoor arena in Reservoir, Melbourne — drop in and play under cover, any weather. Want to play in another city? We can point you to an independent operator who runs their own Arrow Tag games.
Is it safe?
Yes. Arrows are tipped with soft foam, every player wears a protective face mask, and a trained host runs a full safety briefing before every game and supervises the whole session.
How long is an event?
You play for as long as your booking permits. You're welcome to stay longer only if there is a booking after yours — Archery Attack is a booking-only venue.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes you can move in and closed trainers to protect your toes (no open-toe shoes, sandals or thongs). Tie back long hair. The arena is indoor and climate-controlled.
How many players do we need?
Party bookings start from 14 players and we support groups up to 100. About 40 in the arena at once is the recommended battle size — larger parties rotate through so everyone plays. Each package lists its own minimum and maximum.
Can kids play?
Absolutely — Arrow Tag is all-ages-friendly and a huge hit with kids and teens. Minors need a parent or guardian to complete their waiver. Tell us about your group and we'll recommend the best format.
Can we book privately?
Of course. Private group sessions give your crew the battlefield to yourselves — ideal for parties, corporate events and bucks or hens. Get in touch for large-group and fully private bookings.
Can I buy your equipment?
Yes. Bows, foam-tipped arrows, masks, bunkers and complete bundles are available through our equipment shop and wholesale form. Shop checkout is reserve and pay on collection; kit freight is arranged after we confirm the order. (The independent operators we list for other Australian cities are separate businesses, not part of or affiliated with Archery Attack.)
Are waivers required?
Yes. All players (or a parent/guardian for minors) complete a quick waiver before playing. We'll send waiver details with your booking so you can sort it before you arrive.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation and reschedule terms are shown at checkout and on your confirmation. As a guide, you can usually reschedule with enough notice — contact us and we'll do our best to help.
